| Loading Alcohol 101 Plus |

Check to make sure that your computer meets the minimum required specifications for running the Alcohol 101 Plus CD-ROM. | |
|
PC users must use Windows 98 or later, and must have at least 166 MHz processor speed, 32 MB RAM, 240 MD of available hard drive space, 10x or greater CD-ROM drive, SVGA video card with 1MB VRAM supporting 800 x 600 (24 bit) color display, and Soundblaster 16 or comparable 16-bit multimedia sound card or speaker. |

MAC users must have OS 8.6 or greater on PowerPC, G3 or G4 CPU, and be using Open Transport 1.2 or greater. Minimum requirements for MAC users are: 32 MB RAM, 240 MB of available hard disk space, a monitor that supports 800x600 (24-bit color), 10x or greater CD-ROM drive, and Multimedia speakers. |

Insert the Alcohol 101 Plus CD-ROM into your computer's CD-ROM player. |
|
|
Wait for the Alcohol 101 Plus icon to appear, and double-click on it to open the installation window. |
|
|
Double-click on "setup.exe" and follow the instructions given to complete the installation of Alcohol 101 Plus. |
|
|
If a message appears telling you to install QuickTime, click on the QuickTime icon in the Alcohol 101 Plus installation CD-ROM and follow the instructions given to download and install QuickTime 6.0. |
|
|
Why do you need QuickTime? Because Alcohol 101 Plus is like a movie that cannot be seen without a VCR to play it. QuickTime is like the VCR, allowing you to see the graphics and text in the Alcohol 101 Plus presentation. |

| Using Alcohol 101 Plus |

Once Alcohol 101 Plus has been installed, you can start it again simply by clicking on the Alcohol 101 Plus icon on your desktop. |

To skip forward in features such as the online User and Facilitator guides, hold down the Shift key while clicking your left mouse button. |
